Project Description

The primary objective of this study is to improve the governance and decision-making process of producer controlled organizations (PCOs) in the agriculture sector by providing knowledge about the following questions: how are research allocation decisions made in some of the key PCOs in Australia, Canada and the US and who makes the decisions in these producer-led entities? The information provided in this study has implications for understanding the norms and shares the best allocation practices among organizations.
