Save the date: CropSphere 2016!

Sask Wheat will once again be a host member of the CropSphere conference for 2016, in partnership with SaskBarley, SaskPulse, SaskFlax, SaskCanola and SODC.

CropSphere 2016 will take place January 12&13 at TCU Place in downtown Saskatoon. In addition to the conference sessions, the host groups will hold their Annual General Meetings (AGMs) at TCU Place between Monday, January 11 and Wednesday, January 13.

Agenda

Some of the speakers confirmed to date include:

  • Jeff Rubin – Economist and Author, former Chief Economist with CIBC World Markets.

  • Jesse Hirsh – Broadcaster, Researcher, Public Speaker, and Internet Strategist who analyzes trends and development in technology.

  • Reg Shandro – Owner of Farmacist Advisory Services Inc., qualified mediator, and succession planning expert.

A more detailed agenda will be available in coming months.

As in previous years, CropSphere 2016 will feature a combination of keynote and breakout sessions. Breakout sessions allow producers to choose topics that will help them the most in their farm business operations. There will be four breakout rooms running concurrently to address topics related to research and agronomy, new technology, marketing, and general agriculture issues.

Registration
