Letter urging Minister MacKinnon to address potential rail service disruption

In response to the potential simultaneous service disruptions from both major Canadian railways, CN and CPKC, Sask Wheat has written to the Federal Minister of Labour, Minister MacKinnon, calling on the Government of Canada to utilize all available tools to prevent a work stoppage. As any rail service disruption poses a significant risk to producers’ profitability and the well-being of the Canadian economy, Saskatchewan wheat and winter cereals producers are depending on the federal government to take decisive action.
