Sask Crop Commissions Field Tour 2025

SaskBarley, Sask Oilseeds, Sask Wheat, and Saskatchewan Pulse Growers have partnered with WARC to host farmers and agronomists for a tour of on-farm research trials in the Davidson area. Lunch will be provided, as well as optional bus transportation. There are limited spots for this event! Make sure to register for what is shaping up to be a great day of learning and networking in the field.

7:45 A.M. Bus picks up producers in Saskatoon at Saskatchewan Pulse Growers office in Stonebridge, 415 Wellman Cres, Saskatoon
8:00 A.M. Bus leaves Saskatoon to Davidson
9:00 A.M. Registration at Davidson Town Hall
9:30 A.M. Leave Davidson, start tour
10:00 A.M. Arrive at chickpea trial
10:25 A.M. Leave chickpea trial
10:40 A.M. Arrive at wheat trial
11:05 A.M. Leave wheat trial
11:20 A.M. Arrive at barley trial
11:45 A.M. Leave barley trial
11:55 A.M. Arrive at canola trial

Additional Information

Bus will be picking up producers and any other attendees who need the transportation in Saskatoon at the Saskatchewan Pulse Growers office in Stonebridge. The address is 415 Wellman Cres, Saskatoon, SK. The bus will be dropping everyone off at the same location at the end of the day.

For anyone not needing transportation, we will all be meeting at the Davidson Town Hall, 206 Washington Ave, Davidson, SK at 9 a.m.

Plan B Incase of Rain

In the event of rain, the tour will be hosted at the Davidson Town Hall where producers can sit down with experts and have round table conversations while asking any questions they may have about on-farm trials.


WARC is contracted by each commission to be project lead.

There are protocols and sites throughout the province for the commissions programs. WARC coordinates with the commissions, agronomists and producers to create protocols and datasheets, answer any questions and analyze the year-end data.
